Check it out -- New Weekly Newsletters for the parents! It's just one more way we're trying to integrate the whole church (instead of the youth group as a sub-church of FBC Hebron) and to help communicate better with the parents on upcoming activities and our teaching plans. It also has a prayer list and some needs and other neat stuff. WooHoo!

Essential Church

I've begun reading "Essential Church," by by Thom S. Rainer and his son Sam S. Rainer. It is about why so many youth drop out of church when they graduate High School and how we can curb that trend. I think it will be a really good read and we might all need to read up on this type of material to try and reach the students better.

Student Life Tour '09: Live Love

We have been taken off the waiting list for the Live Love tour! WooHoo!

We have 15 spots available (including adults!) and the cost is $44. It must be paid in full by 1/21!!! After 1/23 it is $49 per person!

November Newsletter

I've uploaded the November newsletter (on the announcements page). It is primarily aimed at parents, but it is a good read for students too. It mainly talks about Disciple Now, which will be November 14-16 and the "Don't Waste Your Life" Bible Study we're going through on Wednesday Nights.

New Web Site

Google has discontinued "Page Creator," so we have to migrate to "Sites." This transition should be seamless, as I think I'm the only one who visits the site anyway.
